Scheduled for the day:

We will have a DJ set up at the intersection of Lake St and Millpond Pkwy in front of Planet Pizza.

That intersection is where the schools will demonstrate their skills and talents.

We will also have a petting zoo and pony rides on the lawn where the concerts are held. Pony rides will be free from 2:30pm to 4pm

Canolli Eating Contest
The contest will start at 10am and continue while supplies last. The winner will be one of the participating restaurants/ bakery. The Village will place an ad in the photo news announcing the winner.

Update on the Parade:
The float parade will be combined with the Halloween Parade that will take place on Sunday, October 27 in conjunction with Smith Clove Park’s fall festival. The parade will start at Lake St and Millpond Parkway and continue to the Park.

The parade will NOT be part of Founder’s Day.

NOTE:  Use of fireworks or water during the parade is strictly prohibited. Candy may be handed out. All vehicles must be operated in forward gear. All vehicles must have current registration and insurance and will be subject to an inspection. All float participants must include a certificate of liability insurance naming the Village of Monroe as additional insured.
